Samarium-cobalt magnet production process: batching → smelting ingot → milling → pressing → sintering tempering → magnetic testing → grinding processing → pin cutting processing → finished product.
These alloys are usually in a non-magnetized state. Samarium cobalt is wet-ground (water-cooled heat sink) and diamond grinding wheel. This process is required if drilling holes or other functional limitations. Grinding waste must not be completely dry because samarium cobalt has a low ignition point. A small spark, such as production with static electricity, can be easily burned. The temperature generated by the fire can be very high and difficult to control.
