How are neodymium magnets stored and how are magnetic materials stored?
Time:11/10/2022
1. The magnet should not be close to the electronic equipment, because the magnet itself has positive and negative poles, and there is a circuit loop, which will affect the electronic equipment and control loop and affect the use.

2. Do not store the magnet in a humid environment to avoid oxidation, resulting in changes in appearance, physical characteristics and magnetic properties.

3. If people who have sensitive reactions to metal objects approach the magnet, they will have rough skin and redness. If the above reaction occurs, do not touch the magnet.

4. Do not put magnets close to floppy disks, hard disk drives, credit cards, magnetic tapes, memory cards, TV picture tubes, etc. If a magnet is placed close to a device such as a magnetic recorder, it will affect or even destroy the recorded data.

Pay attention to the following aspects:

1. Do not place the magnet around the strong current;

2. The magnet cannot be roasted on the fire, after high temperature;

3. The magnet cannot be knocked and vibrated violently;

4. Small magnets cannot be put together with large magnets;

5. The hoof-shaped magnet should also add a soft iron to the two poles to connect the two poles, and invert the north and south poles of the adjacent magnets;

6. Small magnets (such as magnetic needles) cannot be placed together with large magnets.

When preserving NdFeB magnets, the environmental requirements are drying, and the NdFeB magnets are not allowed to encounter chemicals such as acids and alkalis, so as not to affect NdFeB magnets and corrode, rust and other phenomena.

Therefore, placing NdFeB magnets on a layer of wood boards still has a good effect on avoiding moisture. Always be very careful when storing magnets, as they can attach themselves and may pinch your fingers. When magnets are attracted to each other, it is also possible to damage the magnet itself (knock out corners or cracks) due to collision.
