Magnetic steel, Ndfeb and its introduction
Time:07/31/2020
Magnetic steel was originally defined as AlNiCo, or AlNiCo, but in practical industrial production is usually called ferrite magnetic steel, ndfeb called magnet or strong magnetism.

2. What are the common types of magnetic steel?

(1) Al-Ni-Co magnetic steel: Al-Ni-co magnetic steel is the oldest kind of magnetic steel and is known as a natural magnet. It can work normally at a high temperature above 500℃, which is its biggest characteristic. In addition, its corrosion resistance is also stronger than other magnets.

(2) Ferrite magnetic steel: it is the most widely used permanent magnetic material, manufactured by powder metallurgy. It is mainly divided into two kinds: barium (Ba) and Sr (Sr), which are anisotropic and isotropic. It is not easy to demagnetize and corrode.

(3) Ndfeb magnetic steel: the magnetic material with the strongest magnetic force. It is widely used in information technology, automobile, NUCLEAR magnetic resonance, wind power generation and motor and other fields. The compound growth rate is expected to be around 20% in the next 3-5 years.

(4) Samarium cobalt magnet: also known as samarium cobalt permanent magnet, samarium cobalt permanent magnet, rare earth cobalt permanent magnet, etc. It is a kind of magnetic material made of samarium, cobalt and other metal rare earth materials by mixing, melting and refining into alloy, after grinding, pressing and sintering, which is relatively less used in the market at present.

3. What do magnetic steel and magnets have in common?

They are all magnetic, they are called magnet in English, so many magnet manufacturers have this English name on their website.

4. What is the specific difference between magnetic steel and magnet?

Magnetic steel contains high carbon, high hardness, low carbon magnet (refers to wrought-iron. Pig iron is high in carbon and low in hardness.

If it is a permanent magnet, only the metal (alloy) can be called magnetic steel, also can be called a magnet, non-metal can only be called a magnet. Like a lot of customers also ask us can do electromagnet, electromagnet can only call magnet, did not call "electromagnet steel".
